Diploma in Logistics and Operations Management
Programme Introduction
The Diploma in Logistics & Operations Management equips students with the skills to apply scientifically-based techniques to work-related problems. Students learn to apply skills in business forecasting, problem-solving, logistics, quality management, to support, schedule and control systems.
The programme enables you to develop an in-depth study of Logistics and Operations management in areas such as Financial Accounting, Legal Issues in Transportation, Purchasing and Procurement, Economics, Principles of Management, Principles of Information System, Business Statistics, and Warehousing and Inventory Management.
Upon completion of the Diploma programme, students will be able to progress to Advanced Diploma, Bachelor and Master programmes.
Programme Objective
- To provide students with an overview of the key functions of management in logistics.
- To develop an understanding of the strategic role of purchasing and procurement and latest developments in term of supply.
- To expose students to the techniques used in the design, layout and management of warehouses and distribution centers.
Modules
This module covers key knowledge and understanding of accounting principles and concepts including the preparation of accounting entries for non-current assets; advanced bookkeeping; journals for correction of errors and year-end adjustments; trial balance and financial accounts. Students will be exposed to AP AR GL CB COA TB POS modules. Key areas such as making end of period adjustments, producing and analysing end period reports will be covered. This qualification is suitable for those working or intending to work in advanced accounting roles.

*The program is a face-to-face program, in view of Covid-19 and travel/border restriction, the program is delivered face to face or on blended mode in Singapore.
Each module is assessed by academic work comprising written assignments, case study reports, essays, examination as determined by the subject profile. The assessment criterion varies from module to module and level to level.
Graduation Requirement
• Must passed all modules
• Must achieve an overall attendance of 90% (International Student) and 75% (Local Student)
