The East Asia Institute of Management campus was buzzing with excitement when Professor Andrew Devitt, Head of Biosciences and Dr Charlotte Law, Programme Director from Aston University came to visit!

They were received by Mr Mark Chua, Deputy Chairman and Vice Principal of EAIM; Dr Steven Chua, Executive Director of Academic Affairs, and Ms Sridaladevi Balamurugan, Head of School of Allied Health Science. Our management had a fruitful dialogue with the Aston delegation, followed by an activity packed day, starting with a campus tour.

Aston team spent the afternoon with EAIM’s Recruitment and Marketing team to have a better grasp of the competitive landscape in Asia and how Aston may assist in the recruitment process in Singapore.

This was followed by a sharing session with local alumni. In the lively exchange, alumni gave insights on how well the programme at EAIM prepared them to be workforce ready, their current jobs and aspirations, and views on furthering their learning journey.

In the evening, both Professor Devitt and Dr Law participated in teaching observation to assess pedagogical standards at EAIM to provide feedback on quality.
