As the world has gone mobile, there is a soaring demand for app developers/programmers. Knowing how to build an app is an essential skill in the Information Technology industry. As such, we held a Mobile App Development Workshop to teach our workshop participants how to build their own android calculator app from scratch.
The workshop is conducted at our campus on 6th March 2021 by our Director of School in Business & Management, Dr Eric Lim. He has more than 15 years of teaching experience at the tertiary level. He was a computer engineer by training and has vast implementation/roll-out experience in the areas of VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol), and last-mile PowerLine Technology throughout the Asia region. Dr Lim is also a Professional Member of The Chartered Institute for IT, and Information Systems Audit and Control Association.
At the end of the workshop, the participants received an insight into mobile app programming and fundamentals knowledge of programming. Mobile Apps Programming is a module in our Advanced Diploma in Business Information Management.
