As part of the Government’s efforts to streamline entry application processes for travellers, all Student Pass (STP) holders should apply for their entry approvals directly via the Safe Travel Office (STO) website, up to around two months in advance.

Eligible applicants would be prompted to make payment (where required) and Approval Letters for Entry (ALE) would be issued immediately upon successful payment. The ALE would be valid for one week (Monday – Sunday of the week of the declared travel date).

Accompanying family members of STP holders who are planning to enter Singapore on an ICA-issued pass type (e.g., Long-Term Visit Pass, Short-term Visit Pass),  will have to meet the following eligibility criteria:

(a) Parent/guardian of STP holders who are 19 years old and under (note that only one accompanying adult per family unit is allowed); or

(b) Siblings who are aged 6 and under; or

(c) Spouse or children (i.e. direct family members) of STP holders on post-graduate programmes.

Family members must travel with the STP holders on the same date to be eligible for entry application. A maximum of 3 family members (2 STP holders and 1 non-STP holder) will be allowed per application.

STP holders are advised to plan well in advance in applying for entry as payments are non-refundable.
