Certificate In Business Management (Chinese)

Programme Introduction

The EAIM’s Certificate in Business Management (Chinese) is a University Foundation Program designed to prepare O-level or Middle-school graduates for entry into renowned and reputable university in UK. It is a 6 months programme that provides students an intensive, fast-track admission into their desired undergraduate Bachelor’s degree programmes.

Student in this course will be introduced to Accounting, Management, Economics and Statistics so as to analyse the real world business issues and entrepreneurship.

Programme Objective

• a sound foundation and understanding of basic economic theories and concepts;

• the understanding of the concepts, processes, and functions of management;

• the understanding of the basic principles and practice of accounting;

• developing basic skills to analyze real world business issues and entrepreneurship;

• enhancing students’ capability in analytical and critical thinking


1. Introduction to Accounting

This module is an introductory course in financial accounting theory and practice. It introduces basic accounting concepts and practices that are essential for students who have no background in accounting and are completing a course in business studies. It covers the complete accounting cycle and critical accounting areas including cash receivables, inventories and fixed assets. Some of the topics covered are: basic understanding of the role of accounting in business, analysing transactions, matching concept and adjustments of entries, accounting for trading businesses, internal controls and special journals, and partnership.

Graduation Requirement

• Must passed all modules

• Must achieve an overall attendance of 90% (International Student) and 75% (Local Student)

Minimum Age Requirement: 15 years (at the time of application)
Academic Requirement:

 Secondary School qualification or equivalent or completed Year 9 of formal education for students in China, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia and South Korea

Chinese Language Requirement:
 Pass in Chinese module (secondary school qualification or equivalent)
