Programme Introduction

Accounting plays an essential role in business.  Being able to discuss finance and accounting concepts competently is a skill highly sought after by the employers in all sectors. Studying Accounting alongside Business Management will position you for role across all business sectors.

This degree will help you develop a deep understanding of accounting practices embedded within a broader business setting, providing you with the skillset to give you a head-start in your career.

Programme Objective

  • To be able to accumulate and report on financial information about the performance, financial positioning, and cash flow of a business.
  • To provide insights into the results of management decisions.
  • To help students to learn to become professional accountants.

Modules

1. Strategic Management Principles & Practice

This module aims primarily to provide students an understanding of the nature and meaning of corporate strategy.  They are able to assess the strategic position of corporations operating in complex global markets. Students get the opportunity to foster their critical appreciation of strategic management.

Assessment:
Each module is assessed by academic work comprising written assignments, case study reports, essays, examination as determined by the subject profile. The assessment criterion varies from module to module and level to level
 

Graduation Requirement

• Must passed all modules

• Must achieve an overall attendance of 90% (International Student) and 75% (Local Student).

Minimum Age Requirement: 18 years (at the time of application)
